  • Luke Woodrow Adams, 29, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2015. He was born on May 3, 1985 in Malvern to Donna May Adams-Robbins and the late Terry L. Adams.

    Luke was a 2003 graduate of Malvern High School. He was saved and baptized at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where he became a member. For many years he was in the Awana program and later became a member of South Main Baptist Church. Luke had recently been attending New Beginnings Church. His greatest joy in this life was his son Carter. Luke was a doting father and he loved his son more than anyone. Carter was his heart. Luke was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wake boarding. He played baseball for his Paw Paw, L.B. Adams, who was his coach. Most of all, Luke was a people person who never met a stranger. He was employed for a time by Malvern Tire Company as the manager. He was also a Volunteer Fireman and EMT.

    Luke is preceded in death by his father, Terry L. Adams; Grandpa, L.B. Adams; Grandmother, Vivian L. Mays-Parker; and Grandfather, Alvin Woodrow Mays.

    Luke is survived by his son, Carter Layne Adams of Malvern; his mother and his step-dad, Donna Mays Adams-Robbins and Mitchell “Buddy” Robbins of Bismarck; his grandmother, Bonnie Rose Kizzar Adams of Malvern; one brother, Mark (Tasheena) Adams of Cabot; two step-brothers, Keith (Laura) Robbins of Glen Rose and Scott Robbins of Royal; two step-sisters, Candy (Casey) Jackson of Antioch and Lacy (Aaron) Stepp of Northern AR; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

    A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Ouachita Cemetery near Donaldson at 10:00 AM with Bro. Ian Kumpe officiating.

    Pallbearers are Mark Adams, Steven Adams, Scott Robbins, Keith Robbins, Tommy Smith, and Chris Allen. Honorary Pallbearers are Skylar Adams, Riley Adams, Dylan Adams, Zachary Adams, Lindsey Robbins, Malvern Fire Department and EMT’s.
